ESPN - SEC NETWORK

To an outsider, the Southeastern Conference is like the college sports equivalent of moon people. It’s filled with bizarre traditions, diehard rivalries, and lifelong commitments to fandom. But if you’re a part of the SEC (which I am not), that strangeness isn’t a source of embarrassment—it’s a badge of honor. Our five year anniversary campaign evolved the brand by dialing in on the one sentiment every SEC fan shares with the network, regardless of school: we all love it here.

It wouldn’t be a college sports campaign without a spot for each school, and a Russian boar. You can also see our big anthem :60 farther down the page.

We kicked off our campaign with these billboards during the SEC championship. LSU was playing Georgia, in case you were wondering. LSU also went on the become the NCAA champions, in case you were also wondering if they happened to go on to have a historic undefeated 15-0 season.

We also had this truck drive around Atlanta during the SEC championship weekend because there’s traffic in Atlanta, so there were people in cars, and thus they were able to see the message that we put on the truck. Also, the message is funny because it’s using car terminology but it’s about football.
